Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded that are mostly of the horror and martial arts types. Her style of review and methodology are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action films that have a twisted fascination. After earning some recognition through the channels on Channel Awesome (under her previous username Obscurus Lupa) and began her review in late 2009. The website was her home up until the end of 2015, which is when Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. She currently hosts two podcasts. One covering the Charmed Franchise and another hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
