Jessica Ellen Cornish is an English singer-songwriter who goes by the stage name Jessie J. The singer is well-known for her distinctive music style, that mixes soul with pop, electropop, and hip-hop, Jessie garnered much fame even at the age of. The awards she has won include the 2011 Critics' Choice Brit Award and BBC's Sound of 2011 as well being nominated for numerous awards. She began her career when she was just 11, when she was cast for the musical "Whistle Down the Wind' by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. As of 2002, she was a part in"The Late Sleepers," which was the "National Youth Theater" stage production "The Late Sleepers." 2011 was the year she gained a lot of attention after the release of her debut album "Who You Are'. The album was a huge success from the beginning. In just the first week the album was sold out to 105,000 people in the UK and 34,000 across the US. Jessie's album was also number two in the charts for UK albums and number eleven in the US Billboard 200.
